4 members of the boys basketball team earned All-NWOAL conference honors for the 2019-20 season. the list includes Noah Tester ’20 as he was named to the 1st team! Earning 2nd Team honors were Sean Brock, ’20 and Connar Penrod, ’21. Honorable Mention honors was Jonas Tester ’22. Congratulations on a great season! The swim team had athletes on the podium three different times at the state swim meet in Canton. The list was Brooke Schuette, ’20 who was 3rd in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:53.60. Its believed this is the highest placing of any Wauseon swimmer at a state meet in school history. Branden Arredondo, ’20 swam the 100 freestyle in 48.52 to place 8th and the girls 400 freestyle relay team of Brooke Schuette, ’20, Megan Carroll, ’20, Grace Rhoades, ’23, and Sarayna Russell, ’21 also placed 8th swimming in 3:43.06. the Indians sent 4 wrestlers to the state championship meets in Columbus,
Damon Molina ’21 – 113 pounds – District Champion
Lawson Grime ’22 – 138 pounds – 4th place at Districts
Jarrett Bischoff ’20- 160 pounds – District Runner Up
Sammy Sosa ’20 – 285 pounds – District Champion
