During this global pandemic, it can be very challenging and difficult to stay in shape for all athletes, this blog post is dedicated to all the basketball players. If you are looking to stay in shape and sharpen your basketball skills you can do a few things everyday to get better, stronger and faster.
Some ways to stay in shape would to do at home exercises that simply have you lifting your own body weight. Some examples of this would include, push ups, sit ups, squats, and lunges.
For basketball players, being strong, fast and remaining consitent are some of the most important things that a basketball player must focus on. Some ways to improve your cardio strength is run a mile, jum rope, and burpees. Those are a few ways to improve your overall strength and fitness shape.
A few ways to become more consistent are focusing on your shooting form, if you have a basketball hoop than utilize this. Go outside and make 100 free throws a day. Make 100 layups each side with each hand. Make 100 three’s from various spots. Make 100 jump shots. Practice as you would play, basketball players meed to be consistent and their shooting form is crucial to have it be second hand nature.
Another way to improve your basketball skills is improve your ball handling skills, basketball is not all about shooting, it also involves ball handling.
